The Standard Paediatric Package for children is a comprehensive health screening designed to assess various aspects of a child's health. It includes essential tests such as a Complete Blood Count (CBC), Liver Function Test (LFT), Renal Function Test (RFT), and a Vision Test. Additionally, it encompasses abdominal and pelvic ultrasound (USG), urine routine examination, dental consultation, stool examination for occult blood, blood grouping and RH typing, as well as pediatric and ENT consultations. This package aims to provide a holistic view of a child's health, identifying potential issues early to ensure timely intervention.
What should be done
- Ensure the child is well-hydrated before tests that require urine samples to facilitate easier collection.
- Explain the procedures to the child in simple terms to reduce anxiety and encourage cooperation.
