Ms. Ruju Khadka leads the Department of Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics at Nepal Mediciti, bringing a wealth of academic knowledge and practical experience in the field of nutrition and dietetics. She is a distinguished member of Nepal’s first-ever MSc class in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics, and a key figure in advancing evidence-based nutrition care in the country.

Ms. Khadka earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics from the College of Applied Food and Dairy Technology (CAFODAT), Kathmandu’s only dedicated college for Nutrition and Dietetics. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology from Lalitpur Valley College, Tribhuvan University.

She began her professional journey with ENPHO (Environment and Public Health Organization), contributing to water quality assessment programs. She later served as a Clinical Dietitian at Sumeru Hospital and as a Nutrition Lecturer for the Bachelor of Nursing program at B&B Medical College. She was also appointed as an official sports dietitian during the 13th South Asian Games, showcasing her expertise in performance and sports nutrition.

With a deep commitment to public health and nutrition education, Ms. Khadka has conducted numerous workshops, training sessions, and school-based nutrition awareness programs. She has also published research on the nutritional status of dialysis patients and holds a certification in sports nutrition training.

At Nepal Mediciti Hospital, Ms. Ruju Khadka continues to lead the way in delivering personalized, science-backed nutritional care, promoting better health outcomes for patients across a wide range of clinical conditions.
