Dr. Aishana Joshi is a Wellness Physician at Nepal Mediciti, specializing in holistic and primary health care. She earned her MD in General Practice and Emergency Medicine from Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Institute of Medicine, Nepal. Dr. Joshi is deeply invested in primary health care research and holistic health, contributing significantly to the field through various research projects and publications in indexed medical journals.
Her research accomplishments have been recognized internationally, including receiving the Family Medicine Early Career Researcher Award from the Besrour Centre, College of Family Physicians of Canada, at the WONCA World Conference 2023 in Sydney, Australia. Dr. Joshi's notable publications include "Ninety Day Post Discharge Outcome in Acute Exacerbation of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease Using the PEARL Score" and "The Dawn of Post Antibiotic Era: Are We Prepared?" featured in prominent journals like the Journal of Nepal Health Research Council and the Journal of Kathmandu Medical College.
In addition to her research, Dr. Joshi is actively involved in the medical community as a Life Member of the Nepal Medical Association, a Member of the European Respiratory Society, and the National Secretary of Spice Route Nepal within the Young Doctors Movement of WONCA. Her dedication to advancing primary health care and her influential role in various professional organizations underscore her commitment to both research and practice.
