Dr. Aishana Joshi is a dedicated Wellness Physician at Nepal Mediciti, specializing in holistic health care and primary health services. She earned her MD in General Practice and Emergency Medicine from Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Institute of Medicine, Nepal. Dr. Joshi’s expertise lies in comprehensive primary health care, with a strong focus on research-driven approaches to improve patient outcomes and promote overall wellness.

Dr. Joshi has made significant contributions to primary health care research, authoring several impactful publications in indexed medical journals. Her notable research works include “Ninety-Day Post-Discharge Outcome in Acute Exacerbation of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease Using the PEARL Score” and “The Dawn of Post-Antibiotic Era: Are We Prepared?” These articles, published in respected journals such as the Journal of Nepal Health Research Council and the Journal of Kathmandu Medical College, highlight her commitment to advancing medical knowledge in primary care and respiratory health.

Her research excellence has earned international recognition, including the prestigious Family Medicine Early Career Researcher Award from the Besrour Centre, College of Family Physicians of Canada, presented at the WONCA World Conference 2023 in Sydney, Australia. She is a Life Member of the Nepal Medical Association, a Member of the European Respiratory Society, and serves as the National Secretary of Spice Route Nepal within the Young Doctors Movement of WONCA.
