Dr. Chandan Baranwal completed his Fellowship in ENT- Head & Neck Surgery (FCPS) from the internationally reputed College of Physicians and Surgeons, Pakistan.

Since then he had been working as a full-timer & as an In-charge at Children’s Hospital for Eye ENT & Rehabilitation Services. Apart from his surgical services, he has trained a lot of Community Ear Health workers (CEHW) and Health assistants in ENT care.

Looking at his capabilities of handling the department, surgical camps, and good interpersonal relationships, he was awarded as the Staff of the Year award in 2016.

He was actively involved with “Ear Care Nepal” a not-for-profit NGO and worked at a few reputed hospitals in Kathmandu Valley.

For the past several years, he has been traveling across the country treating and operating patients with ear problems.

He has been working with Nepal MedCiiti as an Associate Consultant since the establishment of the institute. He played a keen role in establishing Nepal MediCiti as a Postgraduate Institute.

He has wide expertise in surgeries of the Ear, Nose, and Throat with a special interest in middle ear implants and Allergic disorders.

He completed his cochlear implant fellowship under Padma Shree Dr. Milind Vasant Kirtane, P.D Hinduja Hospital, Mumbai(India).

He also completed his Allergy Asthma Specialist Course recognized by Bharatiya Vidyapeeth, A deemed University, Pune, and has been instrumental in organizing Nepal’s first Allergy Asthma workshop.
