Dr. Rima Maharjan Malla is a Senior Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Nepal Mediciti Hospital, known for her comprehensive expertise in women’s health and her dedication to community service. She began her medical journey with an MBBS degree from Chittagong Medical College, Bangladesh, in 2004, and went on to earn her Master's Degree in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS) in 2011.

Dr. Maharjan has continuously pursued advanced training to stay at the forefront of gynecological care. In 2010, she completed certifications in Basic Surgical Skills and Comprehensive Cardiac Life Support, followed by a specialized course in Minimally Invasive Gynecological Surgery in China in 2012. Her recent training in infertility treatment in Delhi and Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) in Nepal reflects her dedication to delivering holistic and advanced reproductive healthcare services.

Beyond her clinical practice, Dr. Maharjan is deeply involved in medical volunteerism and public health outreach. Since 2007, she has actively participated in numerous surgical camps for uterovaginal prolapse, organized by the Government of Nepal, Rural Health and Development Project, and Women for Women. She has also contributed to cervical cancer screening programs with the Himani Trust and the Ministry of Health, and has provided care through general health camps under the Gurkha Welfare Scheme, demonstrating her strong commitment to underserved populations.

Dr. Maharjan is a proud member of the Nepal Medical Council, Nepal Medical Association, and the Nepal Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (NESOG). Her professional journey is driven by a deep passion for advancing women's reproductive health, minimally invasive surgery, and expanding access to quality healthcare across Nepal.
