Dr. Rima Maharjan Malla is a Senior Consultant Gynaecologist at Nepal Mediciti. Her medical journey began with an MBBS degree from Chittagong Medical College in Bangladesh in 2004, followed by a Master's Degree in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS) in 2011. From mastering Basic Surgical Skills and Comprehensive Cardiac Life Support in 2010 to specializing in Minimally Invasive Gynecological Surgery in China in 2012, Dr. Maharjan has consistently sought to expand her medical expertise. Her recent training in infertility treatments in Delhi and IUI in Nepal further demonstrates her dedication to providing comprehensive reproductive health services.

Beyond her extensive training, Dr. Maharjan has a rich history of medical volunteerism, showcasing her commitment to serving underserved communities. Since 2007, she has actively participated in numerous surgical camps addressing Uterovaginal prolapse, organized by the Nepal Government, the Rural Health and Developmental Project, and Women for Women. Her involvement with Himani Trust for screening camps and the Nepal Government's cervical cancer screening initiatives highlights her proactive approach to women's health. Additionally, she has contributed to various general medical camps through the Gurkha Welfare Scheme, emphasizing her versatile skills and dedication to overall community health.

Dr. Maharjan’s professional journey is marked by a deep-seated passion for improving women's health and providing essential medical care to those in need. She is a member of Nepal Mediciti Council, Nepal Medical Association, and Nepal Society of Obstetrician and Gynaecologist.
