Dr. Rinky Nyachhyon is a highly qualified Consultant Oral Physician and Maxillofacial Radiologist at Nepal Mediciti. She earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal, and completed her Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) in Oral Medicine and Radiology from MAHE, Mangalore.
With extensive expertise in the diagnosis and management of oral potentially malignant disorders (OPMDs) and temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders, Dr. Nyachhyon is committed to delivering advanced, patient-centered oral healthcare. She has enhanced her clinical skills through specialized fellowship programs, including the Oral DETECT Training Programme for early detection of oral cancer, along with a certificate course in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, and Research Methodology.
Dr. Nyachhyon is an active and respected member of the Nepal Medical Council (NMC) and the Nepal Dental Association (NDA), adhering to the highest standards of ethical practice and patient care. She currently serves as the Member Secretary of the Institutional Review Committee (IRC) at Peoples Dental College and Hospital. Additionally, she holds the position of Professor and Head of the Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology at Peoples Dental College and Hospital.
Alongside her academic roles, Dr. Nyachhyon provides expert consultation as a Consultant Maxillofacial Radiologist at Tesla Diagnostic Clinic, contributing to accurate diagnosis and treatment planning through advanced imaging techniques.
