Oral Physician and Maxillofacial Radiologist
Dr. Rinky Nyachhyon is a Consultant Oral Physician and Maxillofacial Radiologist at Nepal Mediciti, specializing in the diagnosis and management of complex oral health conditions. She earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal, and completed her Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) in Oral Medicine and Radiology from MAHE, Mangalore.
Dr. Nyachhyon has extensive expertise in identifying and treating oral potentially malignant disorders (OPMDs) and temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders, offering advanced, patient-centered care focused on early detection and effective management. She has further enhanced her clinical capabilities through specialized fellowship programs, including the Oral DETECT Training Programme, designed for the early detection of oral cancer, as well as a certificate course in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, and Research Methodology.
Committed to ethical medical practice and continuous professional development, Dr. Nyachhyon is an active member of the Nepal Medical Council (NMC) and the Nepal Dental Association (NDA). She currently serves as the Member Secretary of the Institutional Review Committee (IRC) at Peoples Dental College and Hospital and holds the position of Professor and Head of the Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology at the same institution.
In addition to her academic leadership, Dr. Nyachhyon provides expert consultation as a Consultant Maxillofacial Radiologist at Tesla Diagnostic Clinic, utilizing advanced imaging techniques to support accurate diagnosis and comprehensive treatment planning for patients.
