Consultant Oncologist
Dr. Sabina Maharjan is a Consultant Oncologist at Nepal Mediciti, with over a decade of dedicated practice in Clinical and Radiation Oncology. She earned her MD in Radiation Oncology from the National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS), Bir Hospital, Kathmandu, following her MBBS degree from Xinxiang Medical University in China. Her strong academic foundation is the cornerstone of her advanced expertise in cancer diagnosis and treatment.
Dr. Maharjan’s professional journey underscores her commitment to excellence in cancer care. Prior to joining Nepal Mediciti, she served as a Registrar at leading hospitals including Om Hospital & Research Center and B&B Hospital. She also completed her residency in Radiation Oncology at NAMS, where she honed her skills in cutting-edge radiation therapy and oncologic care.
In addition to her oncology specialization, Dr. Maharjan has a diverse background in general medicine. She has served as a Medical Officer in Cardiology and Anaesthesia departments at reputed healthcare institutions in Kathmandu, showcasing her broad clinical capabilities.
Dr. Maharjan is actively engaged in the medical community. She is a proud member of several prestigious organizations such as the Nepal Medical Association (NMA), Nepal Medical Council (NMC), Nepalese Association of Hospice and Palliative Care (NAHPC), and the Nepalese Society for Radiation Oncologists (NSRO). Her ongoing contributions reflect her passion for advancing oncology and palliative care in Nepal.
