Dr. Sanjeev Acharya is a Senior Consultant in the Department of Nephrology & Kidney Transplantation at Nepal Mediciti. He earned his M.B.B.S from Kathmandu Medical College (KU) in 2007 and initially worked at Patan Hospital. He pursued his master’s degree at Jiamusi University in China, returning to Nepal upon graduation in 2015. From 2015 to 2022, Dr. Acharya served as a consultant nephrologist at Sumeru Hospital in Lalitpur before joining Nepal Mediciti. Additionally, he was a lecturer in the Department of Internal Medicine at Kist Medical College from 2018 to 2021.

Dr. Acharya specializes in the management of various kidney diseases, with a particular focus on critical care nephrology and kidney transplantation. His expertise extends to diagnosing and treating complex renal conditions, and he has made significant contributions to kidney health through active involvement in kidney screening camps and awareness programs.

He has also participated in the “Mirgaula Bachaun Abhiyaan,” a national prevention campaign aimed at kidney disease awareness, traveling across Nepal to promote kidney health and prevention. Dr. Acharya's dedication to nephrology and public health underscores his commitment to improving kidney care and patient outcomes in Nepal.
