The Department of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Endoscopy at Nepal Mediciti offers state-of-the-art facilities for the management of a wide range of gastrointestinal, liver, pancreatic, and biliary tract disorders. Our team of highly skilled and trusted gastroenterologists and hepatologists utilizes advanced techniques and equipment to perform both complex and routine endoscopy procedures. Our department provides a broad spectrum of diagnostic and therapeutic services. Diagnostic tests include Upper Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), and Endoscopic Ultrasound. Therapeutic procedures encompass ERCP with sphincterotomy or sphincteroplasty, stenting, stone removal, Endoscopic Ultrasound with Fine-Needle Aspiration, polypectomy, Endoscopic Mucosal Resection (EMR), and Endoscopic Variceal Band Ligation (EVL). We also offer sclerotherapy, hemostasis for bleeding ulcers using various methods, foreign body removal, balloon dilatation for strictures, palliative treatments for cancer-related obstructions, and percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG) and jejunostomy (PEJ). Additionally, we perform endoscopic drainage of pancreatic pseudocysts under EUS guidance.
