Dr. Anjana Adhikari

Dr. Anjana Adhikari is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at  Nepal Mediciti with a strong educational foundation and diverse experience in women's health. She holds an MBBS from National Medical College and Teaching Hospital, an MD in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from Nepal Medical College and Teaching Hospital, and has furthered her expertise with a Fellowship in Urogynaecology from the National Academy of Medical Sciences and a certification in Leadership in Medicine from Harvard Medical School.   

Throughout her career, Dr. Adhikari has served in key clinical and administrative roles, demonstrating her commitment to patient care and healthcare management. Her experience includes serving as Deputy Department Head of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Scheer Memorial Adventist Hospital, and as a Consultant at Mom’s Care Polyclinic. Dr. Adhikari's skills encompass a wide range of services, including general obstetrics and gynaecology, family planning, comprehensive abortion care, and the management of pelvic organ prolapse and urinary incontinence.   

Dr. Adhikari is also actively involved in advancing her field through training, education, and professional development. She is a trainer in Intensive Course in Obstetric Emergencies (ICOE) and a facilitator of Advanced Life Support in Obstetric Emergencies (ALSO). Her contributions extend to research, with publications in notable medical journals, and active participation in workshops, seminars, and conferences, showcasing her dedication to continuous learning and improving women’s health outcomes.
