Dr. Anjana Adhikari is an Associate Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Nepal Mediciti, known for her strong educational background and expertise in women’s health care. She holds an MBBS degree from National Medical College and Teaching Hospital and completed her MD in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Nepal Medical College and Teaching Hospital. To enhance her specialization, Dr. Adhikari earned a Fellowship in Urogynaecology from the National Academy of Medical Sciences and obtained a certification in Leadership in Medicine from Harvard Medical School. Her diverse academic qualifications equip her to deliver comprehensive and advanced care in obstetrics and gynaecology.

Throughout her career, Dr. Anjana Adhikari has demonstrated a deep commitment to patient care and healthcare management by serving in important clinical and administrative roles. She has worked as the Deputy Department Head of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Scheer Memorial Adventist Hospital and as a Consultant at Mom’s Care Polyclinic. Her clinical expertise covers a broad spectrum of women’s health services, including general obstetrics and gynaecology, family planning, comprehensive abortion care, and the management of pelvic organ prolapse and urinary incontinence. This extensive experience enables her to provide personalized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each patient.

Dr. Adhikari is actively involved in advancing obstetric and gynaecological care through education and professional development. She serves as a certified trainer for the Intensive Course in Obstetric Emergencies (ICOE) and is a facilitator for the Advanced Life Support in Obstetric Emergencies (ALSO) program. These roles underscore her dedication to improving maternal health outcomes by training healthcare professionals in emergency obstetric care. Her involvement in teaching and capacity-building initiatives makes her a valuable asset to Nepal’s healthcare community.

In addition to her clinical and training responsibilities, Dr. Anjana Adhikari contributes significantly to medical research and knowledge sharing. She has published multiple articles in reputable medical journals and regularly participates in workshops, seminars, and conferences related to women’s health. Her continuous engagement with academic research and professional forums reflects her commitment to lifelong learning and to enhancing the standards of women’s healthcare both nationally and internationally.
