Dr. Anup Ghimire is an Associate Consultant in the Intensive Care Unit at Nepal Mediciti Hospital. He earned his MBBS from Kathmandu Medical College in 2013 and completed his Master’s Degree in MD Anesthesia and Critical Care Medicine from B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS) in Dharan, Nepal, in 2017. Further advancing his expertise, Dr. Ghimire obtained a Fellowship in Cardiothoracic Critical Care from the National University Hospital in Singapore in 2021. His background reflects a compassionate approach to diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of patient illnesses and conditions.

Dr. Ghimire's past experience includes serving as a Registrar Anesthesiologist at the National Trauma Centre and Nepal Mediciti Hospital, as well as a Clinical Fellow at the National University Hospital in Singapore. His professional focus encompasses the clinical management of sepsis, ARDS, MODS, poly-trauma, neurosurgical, and cardiothoracic cases. He is skilled in managing ECMO (VV/VA), resuscitation (BLS/ACLS/ECPR), advanced ventilator management, continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), and point-of-care ultrasound.

In addition to his clinical expertise, Dr. Ghimire is involved in critical care transthoracic echocardiography, nursing education and training, and ICU nutrition and rehabilitation. His commitment to advancing patient care and his diverse skill set make him a valuable asset to the Intensive Care Unit at Nepal Mediciti Hospital.
