Dr. Aquila Shrestha is a Senior Dental Practitioner and the Head of the Department of Dentistry at Nepal Mediciti. With over two decades of clinical expertise, she is recognized for her commitment to comprehensive dental care, oral health promotion, and advanced dental practices in Nepal.

Dr. Shrestha began her dental journey after earning her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from Bangalore University in 1996. She started her professional practice in 1997 at National Dental Hospital, Nepal, where she laid a strong foundation for her career. In her pursuit of excellence, she furthered her qualifications by completing a Postgraduate Diploma in General Dental Practice from the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2004.

In 2001, Dr. Shrestha joined Healthy Smiles as a General Dental Practitioner, providing quality dental care to a wide patient base. Her leadership qualities were further demonstrated in 2007 when she became the Executive Director of Smileweavers, an initiative dedicated to enhancing oral healthcare standards in Nepal.

Dr. Shrestha has also contributed significantly to the professional dental community, serving as a Past Executive Member of the Nepal Dental Association. Her dual focus on clinical excellence and professional leadership has made her a respected figure in Nepal’s dental sector.

Dr. Shrestha leads a multidisciplinary dental team, offering services such as preventive dentistry, restorative procedures, cosmetic dentistry, pediatric dental care, and oral surgery.
