Dr. Arpana Neopane is the Principal Consultant and Head of the Department of Critical Care at Nepal Mediciti. She earned her undergraduate degree from Calcutta University and completed her post-graduation at the Institute of Medicine (IOM), Tribhuvan University in 1998, where she distinguished herself as a Gold Medalist in Internal Medicine. With over 20 years of experience in Internal Medicine and a specialization in Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine, Dr. Neopane is renowned for her extensive clinical expertise and leadership in critical care.
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Neopane is an esteemed academician and researcher. She has served as a Professor of Medicine at Kathmandu University and has contributed significantly to the field through numerous publications. Her academic roles include Chairing the MBBS subject committee and serving as a member of the academic council at Kathmandu University, as well as being a member of the Nepal Health Research Council's Ethical Committee.
Dr. Neopane is actively involved in the global medical community as a member of the European Respiratory Society and the American Thoracic Society. She has participated in various international conferences, seminars, and workshops, further enriching her expertise and staying abreast of advancements in her field. Her dedication to both patient care and medical education reflects her commitment to advancing respiratory and critical care medicine.
