Dr. Arpana Neopane is a leading expert in Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine in Nepal, currently serving as the Principal Consultant and Head of the Department of Critical Care at Nepal Mediciti. With more than 20 years of clinical experience, she is highly respected for her expertise in Internal Medicine, Pulmonology, and Intensive Care.

She completed her MBBS from Calcutta University and earned her MD in Internal Medicine from the Institute of Medicine (IOM), Tribhuvan University in 1998, where she was honored as a Gold Medalist. Her distinguished academic and clinical background makes her one of the foremost names in critical care and respiratory medicine in Nepal.

In addition to her clinical leadership, Dr. Neopane is a dedicated medical educator and researcher. She has served as a Professor of Medicine at Kathmandu University, chaired the MBBS Subject Committee, and contributed to policy-making as a member of the Academic Council of Kathmandu University. She also serves on the Ethical Committee of the Nepal Health Research Council (NHRC), ensuring high standards in health research in Nepal.

Dr. Neopane has published extensively in national and international medical journals and remains actively engaged in the global medical community. She is a member of prestigious international organizations, including the European Respiratory Society (ERS) and the American Thoracic Society (ATS). She regularly participates in global conferences, workshops, and seminars, staying updated on the latest advancements in critical care, pulmonology, and internal medicine.
