Dr. Arpana Neopane is the Principal Consultant and Head of the Department of Critical Care. She graduated from Calcutta University and did her post-graduation at the Institute of Medicine (IOM), Tribhuvan University in 1998. She is a Gold Medalist in Internal Medicine. She has over 20 years of experience as an Internist and Specialist in Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine.

Dr. Neopane is an academician and a researcher. She has served as a Professor of Medicine at Kathmandu University and has many publications to her credit. She was the Chairman of the MBBS subject committee and a member of the academic council of Kathmandu University and a member of the Nepal Health Research Council, Ethical Committee. She is a member of the European Respiratory Society and the American Thoracic Society she has attended many international conferences and seminars and workshops.
