His career has been shaped by significant roles in medical settings, starting with his tenure as a Medical Officer at Om Hospital and Research Center in Kathmandu and Anandaban Hospital in Lalitpur. Dr. Karthak further developed his expertise during his residency in Internal Medicine at Mary Johnston Hospital in Metro Manila, Philippines. This blend of experience underscores his deep medical knowledge and his dedication to providing high-quality patient care.

Dr. Karthak is also actively involved in medical missions and community health initiatives, including his participation in the Taal Volcano Eruption Medical Mission in 2020 and various health camps and earthquake injury screening projects in Nepal.
