Dr. Bidhan Gyawali is a Neurologist at Nepal Mediciti, renowned for his extensive education and diverse clinical experience. He completed his MBBS at the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh, and further pursued an MD in Neurology from King Edward Medical University in Pakistan. This robust educational foundation has equipped him with a profound understanding of various neurological conditions and advanced diagnostic techniques.
Dr. Gyawali’s clinical expertise covers a broad spectrum of neurological disorders, including strokes, multiple sclerosis, headaches, Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, motor neuron diseases, epilepsy, spinal cord diseases, muscle diseases, and brain tumors. He is adept in utilizing neuro-diagnostic tools such as NCS/EMG, EEG, VEG, CT scans, and MRI to provide precise diagnoses and effective management of complex neurological issues.
Before joining Nepal Mediciti, Dr. Gyawali gained significant experience as a Resident Doctor in the Department of Cardiac Anesthesia at Shahid Gangalal National Heart Centre in Kathmandu. There, he developed proficiency in critical procedures including endotracheal intubation, central venous line placement, and intravenous cannulation. His commitment to professional development is further evidenced by his participation in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support workshops, as well as continuing medical education events on cardiac surgery at Mayo Clinic, USA.
