Associate Consultant
Dr. Bipin Maharjan is an Associate Consultant in the Department of Urology at Nepal Mediciti. Prior to joining Nepal Mediciti, he served as a Lecturer in the Department of Urology at Nepalgunj Medical College, Nepalgunj. Dr. Maharjan began his medical education at Kathmandu University Medical School (KUMS), Dhulikhel, where he completed his MBBS in 2009. He furthered his training at B&B Hospital, Gwarko, where he worked as a medical officer and completed his general surgery training in 2013 after passing the FCPS part one examination.
Dr. Maharjan’s dedication to urology led him to the Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation (SIUT) in Pakistan, a leading institution renowned for its advanced urology and nephrology services. There, he completed his FCPS Urology residency program, gaining extensive experience in endoscopic, laparoscopic, and open urological techniques. He earned his Fellowship of the College of Physicians and Surgeons in Urology in 2016. His training also includes a specialization in reconstructive urology from the Kulkarni Reconstructive Urology Centre in Pune, India.
At Nepal Mediciti, Dr. Maharjan focuses on endo-urology, laparoscopic, and reconstructive urology. His clinical expertise includes performing and assisting in major urological surgeries using advanced techniques and equipment such as ESWL, Retrograde Intrarenal Surgery (RIRS), Urodynamics, and TRUS guided prostate biopsy. Additionally, he has been an integral part of a comprehensive renal transplant program, reflecting his broad and detailed experience in the field.
