Dr. Bipin Maharjan is a highly qualified Consultant Urologist in the Department of Urology at Nepal Mediciti, specializing in endourology, laparoscopic urology, and reconstructive urology. With extensive clinical training and experience, Dr. Maharjan is recognized for delivering advanced urological care using modern surgical techniques and cutting-edge technologies.
Dr. Maharjan began his medical education at Kathmandu University Medical School (KUMS), Dhulikhel, where he completed his MBBS in 2009. He further honed his clinical skills as a Medical Officer at B&B Hospital, Gwarko, and completed his general surgery training in 2013 after passing the FCPS Part 1 Examination. His commitment to the field of urology led him to pursue residency training at the prestigious Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation (SIUT), Pakistan, a globally renowned center for urology and nephrology. There, he successfully completed the FCPS Urology Residency Program and was awarded the Fellowship of the College of Physicians and Surgeons in Urology in 2016.
To further specialize, Dr. Maharjan trained in reconstructive urology at the Kulkarni Reconstructive Urology Centre in Pune, India, where he gained hands-on experience in complex reconstructive procedures, including urethroplasty and ureteral repairs.
Before joining Nepal Mediciti, Dr. Maharjan served as a Lecturer in the Department of Urology at Nepalgunj Medical College, where he contributed to both clinical practice and academic teaching.

His core areas of clinical focus include Endourology (including RIRS, URS, PCNL), Laparoscopic urological surgery, Reconstructive urology (e.g., urethral stricture management), Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy (ESWL), TRUS-guided prostate biopsy, Urodynamic studies, Renal transplant coordination, and surgery support.
