Dr. Daman Jha is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Nepal Mediciti, known for his expertise in complex trauma care and reconstructive orthopaedic surgery. With a solid foundation in both clinical and academic medicine, Dr. Jha brings years of experience treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. Prior to joining Nepal Mediciti, he worked as an Orthopaedic Surgeon at Madhyapur Hospital in Bhaktapur and Himal Hospital in Kathmandu, where he managed a variety of orthopaedic trauma and joint disorders.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Jha served as a Lecturer in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Manmohan Memorial Medical College and Teaching Hospital, contributing to the academic development of future orthopaedic surgeons. His dedication to continuous learning and teaching reflects his commitment to the advancement of orthopaedic care in Nepal.
To further hone his skills in trauma surgery, Dr. Jha completed a prestigious AO Trauma Fellowship at AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences) in New Delhi, one of the most respected medical institutions in Asia. This advanced training enabled him to master complex orthopaedic procedures, including those involving pelvic and acetabular fractures.
Dr. Daman Jha’s special clinical interests include Foot and Ankle Surgery, Pelvic and Acetabular Fracture Surgery, and Complex Orthopaedic Trauma Management. He is especially skilled in handling severe fractures, joint reconstructions, and injuries requiring specialized operative techniques.
