Dr. Damber Bikram Shah is a Senior Consultant Neurosurgeon at Nepal Mediciti, specializing in neurotrauma and neuro-oncology. Renowned for his expertise in traumatic brain injury management and brain tumor surgery, Dr. Shah is dedicated to delivering comprehensive, high-quality care for patients with complex neurological conditions. His surgical precision and commitment to patient outcomes position him among the top neurosurgeons in Nepal.

Dr. Shah previously served as an Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery at Universal College of Medical Sciences in Lumbini, Nepal. In this academic role, he was instrumental in both clinical practice and neurosurgical education, mentoring future neurosurgeons and contributing to the development of academic neurosurgery in Nepal.

He completed his MBBS from the School of Medical Sciences, Sun Yat-Sen University, China, and went on to earn his MS in Neurosurgery, equipping him with deep knowledge and practical skills in brain and spine surgery. Dr. Shah has been consistently active in neurosurgical research, authoring numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals and sharing his findings at national and international medical conferences.

At Nepal Mediciti Hospital, Dr. Shah continues to lead in the areas of neuro-oncology and neurotrauma, focusing on improving surgical outcomes for brain and spinal conditions. His clinical interests include minimally invasive neurosurgery, brain tumor resection, spinal cord injuries, and traumatic brain surgery.
