Dr. Deen Dayalu Ghimire is an Associate Consultant paediatrician at Nepal Mediciti with comprehensive training in child health, holding an MD in Paediatrics and MBBS from the Institute of Medicine, Tribhuvan University. His academic journey reflects consistent excellence, strengthened by early clinical exposure through a compulsory rotatory internship at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital.

He began his professional career as a consultant Doctor at Helping Hands Community Hospital, Kathmandu. Dr. Ghimire provides clinical management across a wide range of paediatric and neonatal cases, supports inpatient and emergency care, and participates in multidisciplinary clinical decision-making.

His academic and clinical interests encompass childhood respiratory illnesses, paediatric and neonatal intensive care, and community child health. His postgraduate Thesis, focuses on the association of indoor air pollution with the severity of acute lower respiratory tract infections in young children, reflecting his commitment to evidence-based pediatric research. He has further strengthened his expertise through specialized training, including Infant and Young Child Feeding (IYCF) counseling.

In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Ghimire has contributed to teaching and community-focused initiatives, including participation in paediatric health camps and educational programs. 

He was an active member of professional and academic organizations such as the Nepal Medical Students’ Society and Physicians for Social Responsibility (Nepal chapter). His work is guided by a commitment to high-quality paediatric care grounded in scientific practice and continuous professional development.
