Lt Col Dr. Jyoti Rayamajhi (Rtd), joined Nepal Mediciti Hospital post premature retirement from Nepal Army Medical Corps with her vast surgical experience of 20 years. She has been performing all general, GI, Breast, and plastic and Cosmetic Surgeries since then. She is also the Head of the Department and Principal Consultant of the Comprehensive Breast Care Center at Nepal Mediciti.

She graduated from NAMS with an MS degree in 2009 and has received various formal training in Surgical Oncology, and Breast Surgery in India, the USA, and Singapore along with Fellowship in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Cosmetic Surgery in Medanta, India. Her special area of Interest is Breast and Onco surgery.

  • Performing Plastic, Reconstructive, Cosmetic, Breast Onco, and Oncoplastic surgeries at Shree Birendra Army Hospital.
  • Performing Laparoscopic procedures routinely.
  • Performing tertiary-level Breast, Reconstructive, gastrointestinal, and hepato-biliary procedures.
  • Performing surgical emergencies and trauma procedures.
  • Conduct academic classes for Intern and resident doctors.
  • Teach and train resident surgeons from the National Academy of Medical Sciences.
  • Teach and train medical students from NAIHS(Nepalese Army Institute of Medical Science)
