Dr. Kajan Shrestha
Consultant
Dr. Kajan Raj Shrestha is a Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon at Nepal Mediciti. He is also an Associate Professor of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery (CTVS) at the Institute of Medicine (IOM), MCVTC, is a renowned figure in the field of vascular and cardiothoracic surgery in Nepal.
Dr. Shrestha completed MBBS from Kathmandu University in 2005, followed by an MS in General Surgery from BPKIHS in 2010, and culminating in an MCh in Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery from MCVTC, IOM in 2013. His dedication to academic excellence is further highlighted by his fellowship in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery from Leipzig, Germany.
Dr. Shrestha's contributions to the medical field extend beyond clinical practice. He actively participates in professional organizations, serving as Treasurer of the Vascular Society of Nepal and as a member of both the Surgical Society of Nepal and the Cardiac Society of Nepal. His commitment to advancing medical knowledge is evident through his roles as a peer reviewer for several reputable journals, including the Journal of Surgical Society of Nepal, Nepal Health Research Journal, Journal of Surgical Case Reports, and International Journal of Surgical Case Reports.
