Dr. Keshika Koirala is a Radiologist at Nepal Mediciti, known for her academic excellence and comprehensive expertise in both diagnostic and interventional radiology. She earned her MD in Radiodiagnosis from Nepal Medical College Teaching Hospital, Kathmandu, graduating with distinction and receiving the Gold Medal for academic excellence. Her achievements reflect a strong commitment to delivering high-quality, evidence-based radiological care in Nepal.
Dr. Koirala has broad proficiency in multiple imaging modalities, including ultrasound of the abdomen, pelvis, thyroid, breast, and obstetrics, as well as Doppler studies. She is also highly skilled in interpreting CT and MRI scans, ensuring accurate and timely diagnoses for a wide range of medical conditions. Her expertise further extends to interventional radiology, where she regularly performs ultrasound- and CT-guided biopsies, as well as drainage procedures, offering minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic solutions for patients.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Koirala is deeply involved in medical education, community health, and healthcare outreach. She has served at leading institutions such as Primera Hospital Nepal and actively participates in charitable health camps, providing diagnostic services to underserved populations. Her commitment to maternal and child health, HIV/AIDS awareness, and primary healthcare delivery highlights her dedication to holistic and equitable healthcare.
