Dr. Kundana Rayamajhi is a young radiologist at Nepal Mediciti, with a keen interest in women’s imaging. She has completed a fellowship in Breast Imaging from Max Super Speciality Hospital in New Delhi, India. Dr. Rayamajhi is an active member of the Breast Imaging Society of India (BISI) and the Nepal Radiologist Association (NRA).
Dr. Rayamajhi earned her MBBS degree from Tianjin Medical University in China and gained two years of clinical experience at the National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS, Bir Hospital), the largest government hospital in Nepal. She then completed her MD in Radiology from Universal College of Medical Sciences, Tribhuvan University. Her postdoctoral fellowship in Breast Imaging further honed her skills in this specialized field.
With a specialization in breast imaging, Dr. Rayamajhi is adept at reporting mammograms and MRI breast scans, performing breast ultrasounds, and conducting various breast imaging procedures such as biopsies, fine-needle aspiration cytology (FNAC), wire localization, and clip placement. Her past roles include serving as a Resident Officer at Shahid Gangalal National Heart Center in Kathmandu and undergoing residential training in Radiology and Imaging at Universal College of Medical Sciences.
