Dr. Niki Thakur is a dedicated and highly skilled pathologist with a strong academic and clinical background. She began her medical education at Nobel Medical College, affiliated with Kathmandu University (KU), where she earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree in 2015.

Driven by a deep interest in disease diagnostics and research, Dr. Thakur pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Pathology at Universal Medical College, affiliated with Tribhuvan University (TU). She completed her postgraduate degree in July 2021, further solidifying her foundation in the field of pathology.

Following her MSc, Dr. Thakur served as a consultant pathologist at the prestigious National Public Health Laboratory (NPHL) in Teku, where she contributed to high-level diagnostic services and public health initiatives. Her primary areas of interest and specialization include molecular cytogenetics, immunofluorescence, and oncopathology, reflecting her commitment to cutting-edge diagnostic techniques and cancer pathology.

With a strong academic background and practical experience, Dr. Niki Thakur continues to contribute significantly to the field of pathology in Nepal, enhancing diagnostic accuracy and patient outcomes.
