Dr. Nirajan Mahaseth is an anesthesiologist and critical care specialist with over 8 years of professional experience in the field of anesthesiology and intensive care. He has received an advanced Fellowship in Liver Transplant Anesthesia & Liver Critical Care from the Centre for Liver & Biliary Sciences, Max Super Specialty Hospital, New Delhi, and a Fellowship in Intensive Care Medicine from Dr. Rela Institute & Medical Centre, Chennai. India.
Currently serving as an Associate Consultant and Transplant Anesthesiologist at Nepal Mediciti Hospital, Dr. Mahaseth specializes in anesthesia for hepatobiliary, gastrointestinal, and liver transplant surgeries. His expertise extends to critical care management, outpatient anesthesia (UGIE, ERCP, Colonoscopy, DSA), and advanced regional anesthesia techniques.
He has held academic positions as an Assistant Professor at Karnali Academy of Health Sciences, Jumla, where he also contributed to training and mentoring medical students and young doctors.
Dr. Mahaseth has published multiple scientific papers in national and international journals, covering topics such as anesthesia monitoring, case reports in neurology and trauma, and healthcare experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic. He is actively involved in training workshops and conferences, both as a participant and instructor, in areas such as ACLS, trauma care, pain management, and ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia.
