Dr. Niva Chitrakar is an Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon at Nepal Mediciti, specializing in the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries, bone fractures, joint disorders, and complex trauma cases. He completed his MBBS from Wuhan University, Hubei, China, and earned his MS in Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery from Universal College of Medical Sciences (Tribhuvan University). To further enhance his expertise, Dr. Chitrakar completed a Fellowship in Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery at Max Hospital, Delhi, gaining advanced skills in hand, wrist, and upper limb procedures.

Dr. Chitrakar began his medical career as a Registrar at Blue Cross Hospital, Tripureswor, where he gained extensive hands-on experience in diagnosing and managing a wide range of orthopaedic conditions. This experience in trauma management and joint care laid a strong foundation for his surgical specialization.

Since joining Nepal Mediciti, Dr. Chitrakar has been an integral member of the orthopaedic and trauma surgery team, dedicated to patient-centered, evidence-based orthopaedic care. His approach combines surgical precision with holistic care, ensuring a faster recovery and improved quality of life for his patients.
