Dr. Nivesh Rajbhandari is a Consultant Cardiac Surgeon in the Department of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery at Nepal Mediciti with more than 13 years of experience in the field since completing his MS in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery in 2011. He specializes in adult cardiac surgery, coronary artery bypass surgery, valvular heart surgery, minimally invasive cardiac surgery (MICS), thoracic surgery, and vascular procedures.
Dr. Rajbhandari completed his MBBS from the University of Science and Technology, Chittagong, Bangladesh, and later pursued his MS in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University, Bangladesh. He has gained extensive clinical and surgical experience at leading cardiac institutions in Nepal, including Shahid Gangalal National Heart Center and Manmohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and Transplant Center.
Actively engaged in academic and professional development, he has contributed to several national and international medical publications and regularly participates in conferences, workshops, and specialized trainings related to cardiac surgery. Dr. Rajbhandari is dedicated to providing advanced, safe, and compassionate cardiac care while focusing on improving patient outcomes and overall quality of life.
