Dr. Pawan Singh Bhat is an enthusiastic, skilled, and well-trained surgeon in General Surgery and Digestive Diseases, Unit-2. He pursued his surgical training as MS (General Surgery) from the People’s Republic of China, shanghai in the year 2015. He had worked in the high-volume MIS – -gastrointestinal department at Shanghai Rui Jin Hospital for 3 years. He had good exposure to advanced laparoscopic procedures such as Laparoscopic hernia repair, Open/MIS colorectal surgery, and Open/MIS gastric cancer surgery. His area of research was on the management of gastric cancer. After his return to Nepal, he worked in the Nepali Army hospital as a General and GI surgeon. He had a vast array of experience in surgical procedures of a general and complex nature. His special area of interest is gastrointestinal surgical oncology.
