Dr. Poonam Sharma is a Consultant Paediatric Cardiologist at Nepal Mediciti. She has specialized in imaging and catheter intervention in congenital heart disease. She has dedicated her career to providing exceptional care to paediatric patients with cardiac conditions. 

Dr. Sharma has obtained her MBBS from Kathmandu University School of Medical Sciences, followed by a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from the College of Medical Sciences Teaching Hospital. Dr. Sharma further honed her expertise through fellowships, including Paediatric Cardiac Intensive Care at Seoul National University College of Medicine and paediatric cardiology at Institute Jantung Negara in Kuala Lumpur. With a comprehensive understanding of paediatric cardiology, Dr. Sharma's areas of focus encompass cardiac imaging in congenital heart disease, pediatric intensive cardiac care, catheter intervention in structural and congenital heart diseases, and adult congenital heart disease.
