Dr. Poonam Sharma is a Consultant Paediatric Cardiologist at Nepal Mediciti, specializing in advanced cardiac imaging and catheter-based interventions for congenital heart disease. She is dedicated to delivering exceptional care to paediatric patients with complex cardiac conditions, ensuring the best outcomes through innovative treatment approaches.

Dr. Sharma earned her MBBS from Kathmandu University School of Medical Sciences and completed her Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) at the College of Medical Sciences Teaching Hospital. She further advanced her expertise with specialized fellowships in Paediatric Cardiac Intensive Care at Seoul National University College of Medicine, South Korea, and Paediatric Cardiology at the Institute Jantung Negara, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Her clinical focus includes detailed cardiac imaging for congenital heart disease, pediatric intensive cardiac care, catheter interventions for structural and congenital heart defects, and management of adult congenital heart disease.
