Dr. Ram Babu Sah is a consultant Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) and Liver Transplant surgeon at Nepal Mediciti. With a strong academic background and extensive clinical experience, he has made significant contributions to the field of liver transplantation and other complex surgical procedures.   Dr. Sah has held prestigious positions at renowned institutions, including the Shahid Dharma Bhakta National Transplant Centre in Nepal, Indraprastha Apollo Hospital in New Delhi, India and Korea University Anam Hospital, Seoul, South Korea. Dr. Sah's academic qualifications include a PhD in Hepato-Biliary-Pancreatic Surgery from Sichuan University, China, and a Master's degree in General Surgery from the same institution. His commitment to excellence is evident in his research work and publications.

Dr. Sah has actively participated in numerous liver transplant (Adult and Paediatric) surgeries and other major Hepatic, Biliary, and Pancreatic procedures. He does complex Abdominal Surgeries through open as well as minimally invasive (laproscopic) approaches. He is an expert on disorder such as Liver Cirrhosis, Jaundice, Fatty Liver, Hepatitis, Acute Liver Failure, Liver Abscess, Liver Cysts, Liver Tumors, Gall Bladder or Bile Duct Stones, Cancer of Gall Bladder, Acute or Chronic Pancreatitis and Pancreatic Cancer. He also treat Paediatric Liver Diseases such as Wilson's Disease, Congenital-Biliary Atresia, Progressive Familial Intrahepatic Cholestasis (PFIC).

He is a registered member of the Nepal Medical Council and holds memberships in various professional organizations, including the Nepal Medical Association and the Surgical Society of Nepal.
