Dr. Ram K. Ghimire serves as the Head of the Department of Radiology at Nepal Mediciti. He holds a diploma in medical radio diagnosis and a Master's degree in radio diagnosis from the Institute of Medicine, Tribhuvan University. Previously, he was a Professor and head of the Department of Radiology and Imaging at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital.

Dr. Ghimire is an active member of numerous national and international societies, including the Nepal Medical Association, Nepal Radiologist Association, Breast and Thyroid Society of Nepal, Nepal Thoracic Society, Ultrasound Society of Nepal, European Society of Radiology, and Nepalese Society of Vascular and Interventional Radiology, where he currently serves as president. He has contributed significantly to the medical field through his publications in national and international journals and his roles on the Institutional Review Board and Academic Council of the Institute of Medicine.

Throughout his career, Dr. Ghimire has been instrumental in initiating various radiological services and establishing imaging institutions in Nepal. His major areas of interest are MR imaging and vascular and interventional radiology. In recognition of his contributions, he has received numerous awards, including the "Suprabal Janasewa Shree" and "Sukritimaya Rastradeep," one of Nepal's highest civilian honors for public service, awarded by the President of Nepal.
