Dr. Reena Rana

Dr. Reena Rana is a Senior Consultant Pathologist in the Department of Laboratory Medicine & Pathology at Nepal Mediciti, renowned for her expertise in diagnostic pathology and medical education. She completed her MBBS at Kathmandu Medical College and launched her medical career as a House Officer at leading healthcare institutions, including Kathmandu Medical College, Stupa Community Hospital, and B&B Hospital.
Specializing in pathology, Dr. Rana earned her MD in Pathology from Nepalgunj Medical College Teaching Hospital, where she also served as a dedicated lecturer for two years, contributing to the training of future medical professionals.
To further advance her skills, Dr. Rana undertook advanced training in Cytology at the Institute of Pathology, University of Bern, Switzerland. This international experience enhanced her proficiency in pathology, enabling her to deliver high-quality diagnostic services.
Following her training abroad, she served as a lecturer at Birat Medical College in Biratnagar for two years, sharing her expertise and fostering academic growth.
Currently, at Nepal Mediciti, Dr. Rana leverages her extensive clinical experience and academic background to provide expert pathology diagnostics and drive innovation in laboratory medicine. Her multidisciplinary experience in pathology, cytology, and medical education makes her a valuable asset in advancing healthcare services in Nepal.
