Dr. Reena Rana
Sr. Consultant
Dr. Reena Rana is a Senior Consultant Pathologist in the Department of Laboratory Medicine & Pathology at Nepal Mediciti, widely recognized for her expertise in diagnostic pathology and commitment to medical education. She completed her MBBS at Kathmandu Medical College and began her medical career as a House Officer at reputed healthcare institutions, including Kathmandu Medical College, Stupa Community Hospital, and B&B Hospital, gaining valuable clinical experience.
Specializing in pathology, Dr. Rana earned her MD in Pathology from Nepalgunj Medical College Teaching Hospital, where she also served as a dedicated lecturer for two years, actively contributing to the training and development of future medical professionals in Nepal. Her passion for advancing pathology skills led her to pursue advanced training in Cytology at the Institute of Pathology, University of Bern, Switzerland, significantly enhancing her diagnostic expertise.
After returning from Switzerland, Dr. Rana continued her academic career as a lecturer at Birat Medical College in Biratnagar, where she shared her knowledge and fostered academic excellence over a two-year tenure. Her international training and teaching experience have strengthened her proficiency in both clinical and academic pathology.
