Dr. Sabina Lamichhane is a Consultant in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Nepal Mediciti. With over 13 years of clinical experience, she brings a strong blend of surgical expertise and patient-centered care to women across all age groups. Dr. Lamichhane is known for prioritizing individual needs, values, and preferences, ensuring each woman receives compassionate, personalized, and evidence-based treatment. Her ability to build trust with patients from diverse backgrounds makes her one of the most reliable names in women’s healthcare in Nepal.

Dr. Lamichhane earned her Master’s degree in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS), Dharan, in 2012. Further enhancing her capabilities in minimally invasive procedures, she underwent laparoscopic surgery training at Spectrum Clinic in Kolkata, India. She is also certified in Comprehensive Abortion Care (CAC) and has advanced training in managing high-risk pregnancies, as well as disaster preparedness in maternal health settings.

Her career includes an academic role as an Assistant Professor at Nobel Medical College, where she contributed to the training of residents and helped promote collaborative, team-based care models. Dr. Lamichhane also played a leadership role as the Treasurer in organizing the “Update in Critical Care” conference in eastern Nepal, contributing to the ongoing development of critical care knowledge in obstetrics. She later served as a Senior Consultant at Life Guard Hospital, Biratnagar, delivering high-quality obstetric and gynecological care with a focus on modern techniques, compassionate practice, and clinical innovation.
