Dr. Samata Sharma is a consultant Paediactric Ophthalmologist with a passion for improving eye health in Nepal and beyond. Dr. Sharma has a distinguished career spanning over a decade, with a proven track record of success in patient care, surgical expertise, and community outreach.

Dr. Sharma's holds an MD in Ophthalmology from the Tilganga Institute of Ophthalmology and has completed fellowships in Oculoplastics, Lacrimal and Orbital Surgery from Aichi Medical University Hospital, Japan, and Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus from Tilganga Institute of Ophthalmology. Her dedication to continuous learning is further evidenced by her participation in various trainings and workshops, including Advanced Life Support Training and Training Workshop on Scientific Writing.

Dr. Sharma's expertise encompasses a wide range of ophthalmic procedures, including adult and pediatric cataract surgery, pterygium excision, Dacryocystorhinostomy surgeries, blepharoplasty, strabismus surgery, and various eyelid and canalicular repair procedures. Notably, she has performed over 20,000 cataract surgeries as a primary surgeon, demonstrating her exceptional surgical skills and experience.
