Dr. Sangita Thapa is a Consultant Microbiologist at Nepal Mediciti, bringing a wealth of experience from her previous role as Associate Professor and Incharge at Chitwan Medical College Teaching Hospital (CMCTH), Tribhuvan University. She is adept with advanced microbiological instruments, including PCR machines (both conventional and real-time), Vitek-2, and BACTEC, and her expertise covers a broad spectrum of microbiological analyses such as bacteriology, mycology, virology, parasitology, and serology.

Her medical career began with a scholarship at Manipal College of Medical Sciences in Pokhara, culminating in an MD in Clinical Microbiology from Kathmandu University in October 2014. Dr. Thapa's technical skills are complemented by her exceptional communication and presentation abilities, making her a key contributor in both collaborative and independent settings. She has experience teaching and mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students, reflecting her commitment to education and professional development.

Dr. Thapa's meticulous approach to quality control and research underscores her dedication to maintaining high standards in medical practice.
