Dr. Sanjeet Krishna Shrestha is the Principal Consultant in the Department of Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine at Nepal Mediciti. He completed his MBBS at Kathmandu Medical College Teaching Hospital under Kathmandu University and furthered his education with an MD in Internal Medicine from the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER). Since joining Nepal Mediciti in 2017, Dr. Shrestha has been instrumental in leading and developing the Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine department.

Under his leadership, the department has established a comprehensive range of services, including a fully equipped lung function laboratory, bronchoscopy services, and a sleep laboratory for polysomnography. These facilities are integrated with critical care services, reflecting Dr. Shrestha's commitment to providing advanced and holistic care in pulmonary and sleep medicine.

Dr. Shrestha's areas of interest include critical care medicine, breath analysis in lung diseases, bronchial asthma, pulmonary hypertension, lung cancer, and both pulmonary and extrapulmonary tuberculosis. He also has expertise in connective tissue-related lung diseases, sarcoidosis, sleep medicine, obstructive sleep apnea, and non-invasive ventilation. His extensive knowledge and dedication to these fields significantly contribute to advancing patient care and treatment outcomes.
