Dr. Sanju Babu Shrestha is the Principal Consultant and Head of the Department of Dermato-Venereology and Cosmetology at Nepal Mediciti. Renowned for his expertise in dermatology, venereology, advanced LASER treatments, and hair transplant surgery, Dr. Shrestha is a pioneer in aesthetic dermatology and hair restoration in Nepal.

He is the founder and current President of the Nepal Society of Hair Restoration Surgeons (NHSRS), underscoring his commitment to advancing the science and practice of hair transplant surgery and cosmetic dermatology in the region.

Dr. Shrestha completed his MBBS from Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College, affiliated with Chittagong University, Bangladesh, and earned his post-graduate degree in Dermatology, Venereology, and Leprology from B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS), Dharan, Nepal. His advanced training includes specialized certifications in dermatology, aesthetic LASER procedures, and hair transplant techniques from premier institutions such as Keimyung University and Dongsan Medical Center in South Korea, along with multiple centers across India.

With extensive hands-on experience, Dr. Shrestha has successfully performed numerous hair transplant surgeries utilizing both Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) and Follicular Unit Transplantation (FUT) methods. He has also actively participated in robotic hair transplant Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs, ensuring he remains at the forefront of innovative hair restoration technologies.
