Senny Chapagain is an experienced Cataract surgeon and is the Consultant Ophthalmologist at Department of Ophthalmology at Nepal Mediciti Hospital.
She has done MBBS from Kathmandu Medical College and MD in Ophthalmology from Tilganga Institute Of Ophthalmology. She did her Cataract and Anterior Segment Surgery training from Geta Eye Hospital.
She has performed more than 10000 cataract surgeries and has been instrumental in starting the phacoemulsification surgery and other Anterior segment surgeries at Nepal Mediciti Hospital.
She has also worked as Academic coordinator and Cataract surgery trainer where she was involved in Academic activities and surgical training of the residents and junior consultants.
She has participated in various National as well as International conferences in United States, Europe and Asia. She has multiple publications in reputed national and international journals .
Her special interests include Cataract, Oculoplastics and Aesthetic surgery.
