Col. Dr. Srijan Malla (Retd) is the Principal Consultant in the Department of General Surgery and Digestive Diseases, Unit-2, at Nepal Mediciti. He brings over 23 years of extensive surgical experience, with a strong focus on advanced laparoscopic procedures. Dr. Malla completed his MS degree from the National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS), Bir Hospital, in 2006.

He has specialized in general and advanced gastrointestinal surgeries, refining his expertise at several prestigious institutions. Dr. Malla holds FMAS and DMAS certifications from the World Laparoscopy Hospital (2011) and completed specialized training in minimal access and robotic surgery at Sir Gangaram Hospital (2013).

His expertise includes a wide range of advanced laparoscopic gastrointestinal surgeries such as laparoscopic cholecystectomy, abdominal and inguinal hernia repairs, appendectomy, as well as complex colorectal and hepatobiliary surgeries.
