Consultant Paediatrician
Dr. Sujeeta Bhandari is a Consultant in the Department of Paediatrics at Nepal Mediciti, recognized for her dedicated approach to paediatric care and medical research. With over a decade of experience, Dr. Bhandari combines her extensive expertise with a compassionate demeanor, offering comprehensive healthcare services to children and adolescents. Her qualifications include an M.D. in Paediatrics, along with specialized training in paediatric nutrition and allergy asthma, reflecting her commitment to staying updated with the latest advancements in paediatric medicine.
Dr. Bhandari's career has included diverse roles, such as a medical officer at Patan Hospital, a lecturer at National Medical College in Birgunj, and a consultant paediatrician at Kathmandu National Medical College and Mahendra Narayan Nidhi Memorial Hospital. She has pursued further training in paediatric critical care, including Advanced Neonatal and Paediatric Life Support, Paediatric Fundamental Critical Care, and Basic Life Support. Her areas of interest encompass paediatric critical care, nutrition, and asthma allergy, underscoring her comprehensive skill set in managing complex paediatric conditions.
In addition to her clinical and educational roles, Dr. Bhandari actively contributes to the medical community. She has served as the Member Secretary for the Institutional Review Committee at National Medical College, Birgunj, and is currently a member of the Institutional Review Committee at Nepal Mediciti Hospital. Dr. Bhandari's leadership extends to her involvement with various organizations, including the Richa Bajimaya Memorial Foundation, Lions Club of Kathmandu Radiance, Nepal Medical Association, and the Nepal Paediatric Society, where she has held significant positions such as Executive Member and Coordinator of multiple chapters. Her engagement in these roles highlights her dedication to advancing paediatric healthcare practices and standards.
