Dr. Sukirti Baba Panta is an Associate Consultant Anesthesiologist at Nepal Mediciti, specializing in cardiac and non-cardiac anesthesia. With a strong academic foundation and hands-on clinical experience, she is committed to ensuring patient safety, effective pain management, and high-quality perioperative care across a wide range of surgical procedures.
Dr. Panta earned her MBBS degree from Manipal College of Medical Sciences, Pokhara, where she built a solid base in general medicine. She later pursued her MD in Anesthesiology from Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER). Her dedication to specialization led her to complete a fellowship in Cardiothoracic Anesthesia at Shahid Gangalal National Heart Center, Kathmandu, equipping her with the advanced skills needed for high-risk cardiac surgeries.
During her time as a Junior Resident at JIPMER, Dr. Panta gained extensive hands-on experience in administering anesthesia across multiple specialties, refining her proficiency in managing complex cases. Her medical journey began with a comprehensive internship at Manipal College, where she rotated through various departments, further solidifying her clinical capabilities.
Dr. Sukirti Baba Panta’s professional focus includes perioperative safety, anesthesia planning, intraoperative monitoring, and postoperative pain management. Her expertise spans cardiothoracic surgeries, general surgery, obstetric anesthesia, and critical care support. With a patient-first approach, she works closely with surgical teams to ensure seamless and safe anesthesia delivery from preoperative preparation to post-surgical recovery.
