Dr. Suman Baral is a Consultant in the Department of Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, Nepal Mediciti Hospital. After MBBS from MCOMS Pokhara, he did his MD (Internal Medicine) from Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital. He also holds the MRCP (UK) specialty certificate in Endocrinology and Diabetes. He worked as Assistant Professor in Endocrinology Unit at TU Teaching Hospital and as Internist in Civil Service Hospital and B & B Hospital. He was associated with the International Organization for Migration for more than 10 years. He has published more than a dozen articles in national and international journals and has the largest case banking of “Hypoglycaemia in Non-Diabetics” in the country.
He takes a keen interest in using technologies and precision nutrition in diabetes management. From the beginning of his career, he has been managing endocrine tumors related to Pituitary, Thyroid, Parathyroid, and Adrenal glands. He performs dynamic tests of different hormones which highly yields a diagnosis of smoldering Endocrine disorders.
