Dr. Sumit Joshi is a Neurosurgeon and Senior Consultant in the Department of Neurosurgery at Nepal Mediciti. With extensive experience in performing over 2000 surgeries, his expertise spans traumatic brain injury, neurovascular conditions, degenerative spinal disease, complex spinal surgeries, peripheral nerve disorders, and brain tumors. Dr. Joshi's primary interests lie in neurovascular, skull base, and complex spinal surgeries, where he applies his advanced skills to address challenging cases.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Joshi is recognized as a faculty member in Neurosurgery by the National Board of Medical Specialties, reflecting his commitment to education and professional development. He actively engages in academic and research activities, contributing to the field with multiple national and international publications and presentations. His dedication to advancing neurosurgery is evident through his involvement in various academic forums and research initiatives.

Dr. Joshi has also played a significant role in the Nepalese Society of Neurosurgeons (NESON), including serving as an executive member of both NESON and its neurovascular chapter.
