Dr. Tanup Prasai
Consultant
Dr. Tanup Prasai has been part of the Orthopaedic team at Nepal Mediciti from its inception. He has been providing regular service as a consultant in the subspecialty of Hand and Wrist Surgery.
Dr. Tanup has a decade-long experience in teaching both Undergraduate and Postgraduate students. He completed his MBBS from the BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan, and his MS Degree from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi. He further completed a 1-year Fellowship in Hand Surgery from the Dandenong Hospital (Monash University) in Melbourne, Australia, and is one among only a very few surgeons in Nepal specifically trained in Hand Surgery.
