Dr. Tanup Prasai is a Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon at Nepal Mediciti, with a subspecialty in Hand and Wrist Surgery. With over 10 years of clinical and academic experience, he is also actively engaged in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate medical students, contributing to the development of future orthopedic professionals.
Dr. Prasai completed his MBBS from BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS), Dharan, and obtained his Master of Surgery (MS) in Orthopedics from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi—one of the most prestigious medical institutions in South Asia. He further advanced his skills through a one-year Fellowship in Hand Surgery at Dandenong Hospital, affiliated with Monash University in Melbourne, Australia.
