Dr. Varsha Verma is an Associate Consultant Neonatologist at Nepal Mediciti, renowned for her expertise in neonatal intensive care and the management of critically ill newborns. With a strong academic foundation and advanced clinical training, Dr. Verma specializes in providing expert care for premature and high-risk neonates, ensuring the best outcomes for vulnerable infants.
She earned her MBBS degree from Hebei Medical University, China, in 2009, followed by an MD in Neonatology from the prestigious Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University in Dhaka, Bangladesh, in 2019. This rigorous academic background underpins her specialized skills in neonatology and critical newborn care.
Committed to continuous professional development, Dr. Verma has participated in several high-impact training programs to enhance her clinical expertise. These include the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) in 2024, Pediatric Basic Ultrasound training in 2022, and a comprehensive workshop on Mechanical Ventilation in NICU and PICU conducted in 2019. Additionally, she completed a Post Graduate Program in Pediatric Nutrition and Pediatric Critical Care Nutrition in 2021, strengthening her ability to provide evidence-based nutritional management and life-saving interventions in neonatal care.
Dr. Verma’s specialized training and experience enable her to expertly manage complex neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) cases. Her clinical focus includes respiratory support, nutritional therapy, and critical care interventions essential for the survival and health of premature and critically ill newborns. She is an active member of the Nepal Medical Council (NMC) and the Nepal Paediatric Society (NEPAS), reflecting her commitment to maintaining the highest standards of neonatal medicine.
