Dr. Vijay Chaudhary is an Associate Consultant and Pre-Hospital Care Incharge in the Department of Emergency Medicine and Pre-Hospital Care at Nepal Mediciti. He possesses a distinguished academic background, including a Fellowship in Emergency Medicine from Bern University Hospital and the University of Bern in Switzerland, a Distance Fellowship in Diabetes Management from Christian Medical College in Vellore, India, and a Doctor of Medicine in General Practice and Emergency Medicine from the Institute of Medicine, Maharajgunj Medical Campus, Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital.
Dr. Chaudhary is an active member of the Nepal Medical Association (NMA) and the General Practitioners Association of Nepal (GPAN). His dedication to medical excellence is demonstrated by his board certifications and permanent licensure from the Nepal Medical Council. With extensive experience across various healthcare settings, Dr. Chaudhary has served as an Emergency Physician at Nepal Mediciti and Grande International Hospital, handling critical medical evacuations, including those involving COVID patients. His previous roles as a Medical Officer at Manmohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and Transplant Center and Chitwan Medical College have further honed his expertise in emergency and critical care medicine. Dr. Chaudhary is also dedicated to medical education and community service, serving as an instructor for Nepal Basic Life Support (Nepal BLS) and participating in medical conferences and disaster relief efforts, showcasing his commitment to both clinical practice and humanitarian service.
