Dr. Vijay Chaudhary is an Associate Consultant and Pre-Hospital Care Incharge in the Department of Emergency Medicine and Pre-Hospital Care at Nepal Mediciti. He holds a prestigious Fellowship in Emergency Medicine from Bern University Hospital and the University of Bern, Switzerland, along with a Distance Fellowship in Diabetes Management from Christian Medical College, Vellore, India. Dr. Chaudhary also earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) in General Practice and Emergency Medicine from the Institute of Medicine, Maharajgunj Medical Campus, Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital.
As an active member of the Nepal Medical Association (NMA) and the General Practitioners Association of Nepal (GPAN), Dr. Chaudhary is fully board-certified and holds permanent licensure from the Nepal Medical Council. He has received advanced training in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Advanced Interdisciplinary Emergency Ultrasound, ensuring expert proficiency in emergency medical care.
Dr. Chaudhary brings extensive experience from leading healthcare institutions, having served as an Emergency Physician at Nepal Mediciti Hospital and Grande International Hospital. He is skilled in managing critical medical evacuations, including complex COVID-19 patient transfers. His prior roles as a Medical Officer at Manmohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and Transplant Center and Chitwan Medical College have further strengthened his expertise in emergency and critical care medicine.
Committed to medical education and community service, Dr. Chaudhary actively serves as an instructor for Nepal Basic Life Support (Nepal BLS) and regularly participates in medical conferences and disaster relief efforts. His dedication to clinical excellence and humanitarian service makes him a key member of Nepal Mediciti Hospital’s emergency care team.
