Consultant Neuro Physiotherapist
PT. Bishwas Shrestha is the Consultant Neuro Physiotherapist at the Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Department of Nepal Mediciti. He earned his Master’s in Neurological and Psychosomatic Disorders from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) in Bangalore. Before joining Nepal Mediciti, Mr. Shrestha held the position of Assistant Head of the Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Department at Upendra Devkota Memorial National Institute of Neurological and Allied Sciences (UDMNINAS) and served as a Clinical Educator at Kathmandu University of Medical Sciences.
Mr. Shrestha brings extensive expertise in neurorehabilitation, with a special focus on stroke, Parkinson’s disease, spinal cord injuries, and head injuries. His career reflects a deep commitment to advancing the field of neurorehabilitation and providing high-quality care to patients with complex neurological conditions.
As a lifetime member and current Vice President of the Nepal Physiotherapy Association (NEPTA), Mr. Shrestha is actively involved in the professional development of physiotherapists and the promotion of best practices in the field. His leadership and dedication to neurorehabilitation underscore his significant contributions to enhancing patient outcomes and advancing the practice of physiotherapy in Nepal.
