Speech and Swallowing Therapist
Mahima Ghimire is a Speech and Swallowing Therapist at Nepal Mediciti, specializing in the assessment and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders across all age groups. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Dysphagia and Swallowing Disorders at the prestigious Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Faridabad, demonstrating her commitment to advancing evidence-based clinical interventions.
Mahima holds a Master of Science in Deglutology and Swallowing Disorders from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, where she graduated as a Gold Medalist. She also earned her Bachelor of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology (B.A.S.L.P.) from Dr. M.V. Shetty College of Speech and Hearing, affiliated with Mangalore University.
With extensive clinical experience gained from renowned institutions such as Nepal Cancer Hospital and Research Center and the Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Mahima has also contributed to various community-based rehabilitation programs. She is an active member of the Nepal Health Professional Council (NHPC) and the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), reflecting her dedication to professional standards and continuous development in speech and swallowing therapy.
