Ms. Mahima Ghimire is a Speech and Swallowing Therapist at Nepal Mediciti, specializing in the assessment and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders across all age groups. Currently pursuing a PhD in Dysphagia and Swallowing Disorders at the prestigious Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Faridabad, she demonstrates a strong commitment to advancing evidence-based clinical interventions in speech therapy and swallowing rehabilitation.

Mahima holds a Master of Science degree in Deglutology and Swallowing Disorders from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, where she graduated as a Gold Medalist. She also earned her Bachelor of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology (B.A.S.L.P.) from Dr. M.V. Shetty College of Speech and Hearing, affiliated with Mangalore University, providing her with a solid academic foundation in communication sciences.

With extensive clinical experience gained from leading institutions such as Nepal Cancer Hospital and Research Center and the Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Mahima has honed her expertise in treating a wide range of speech and swallowing disorders. In addition, she has actively contributed to community-based rehabilitation programs, furthering access to quality speech therapy services in diverse settings.

Mahima is a dedicated member of the Nepal Health Professional Council (NHPC) and the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), reflecting her ongoing commitment to professional excellence and continuous development in speech-language pathology and dysphagia management.
