Speech and Swallowing Therapist


Mahima Ghimire is a dedicated Speech and Swallowing Therapist at Nepal Mediciti Hospital, with a strong foundation in assessment and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders in both children and adults. Currently pursuing a PhD in Dysphagia and Swallowing Disorders at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Faridabad, she is passionate about providing evidence-based interventions to individuals with diverse needs.

Her academic journey includes a Master of Science in Deglutology and Swallowing Disorders from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, graduated as a Gold Medalist. She holds a Bachelor of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology (B.A.S.L.P.) from Dr. M.V. Shetty College of Speech and Hearing, Mangalore University.

Mahima Ghimire possesses extensive clinical experience from different institutions such as Nepal Cancer Hospital and Research Center, and Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, as well as various community-based organizations. Her professional affiliations include membership with the Nepal Health Professional Council (NHPC) and the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
