The Department of Anesthesia and Pain Management at Nepal Mediciti, where our primary goal is to provide top-quality care to every patient. Our team of experts is dedicated to ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout their medical procedures and pain management journey.

Comprehensive Anesthetic Care: Our state-of-the-art facility includes eight world-class modular operation theatres and a dedicated obstetric theatre. We provide anesthesia for a variety of procedures, including endoscopic and colonoscopy procedures in the Gastroenterology suite, serving approximately 5,000 patients annually. We are among the few centers in the country offering 24-hour obstetric analgesia for painless delivery. Additionally, our anesthetic services extend to the radiology department for procedures like MRI sedation, CT-guided biopsies, and radiofrequency ablation, as well as cardiovascular laboratory (Cath Lab) procedures.

Advanced Monitoring and Safety: Depth of anesthesia monitoring is a critical component of our surgical care. We utilize ultrasound guidance for regional blocks and vascular access, ensuring precision and safety in these procedures. Our operation theatres are equipped with a scavenging system to maintain a safe environment for both patients and service providers.

Pain Management Services: We operate a daily pain clinic to serve walk-in patients with acute and chronic pain. Our goal is to achieve a pain-free and satisfied patient experience. To this end, we have a dedicated team of pain doctors and pain nurses conducting daily rounds to create a pain-free environment. We use advanced catheter techniques to minimize opioid use and ensure effective pain management.
