The Department of Anesthesia and Pain Management at Nepal Mediciti is dedicated to providing top-quality care, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout their medical procedures and pain management journey. Our advanced facility includes world-class modular operation theatres and a dedicated obstetric theatre, where we provide anesthesia for procedures, including endoscopic and colonoscopy procedures in the Gastroenterology suite, serving approximately 5,000 patients annually. We are among the few centers in the country offering 24-hour obstetric analgesia for painless delivery. Our anesthetic services also extend to the radiology department for procedures like MRI sedation, CT-guided biopsies, and radiofrequency ablation, as well as cardiovascular laboratory (Cath Lab) procedures. We prioritize advanced monitoring and safety, utilizing ultrasound guidance for regional blocks and vascular access and equipping our operation theatres with a scavenging system to maintain a safe environment for both patients and service providers.

Our pain management services aim to achieve a pain-free and satisfied patient experience. We operate a daily pain clinic for walk-in patients with acute and chronic pain, supported by a dedicated team of doctors and nurses who conduct daily rounds. We use advanced catheter techniques to minimize opioid use and ensure effective pain management.
